The short version
- We collect only what we need to teach your child.
- We never sell data. We never run third-party ad networks on this site.
- Parents create accounts; children do not. Child profiles store only a first name, age band, language preferences, and learning progress.
- You can export or delete your family's data at any time by emailing hello@earlybridgeacademy.com.
Information we collect
Parent account: email address and the password you set (stored hashed). Optional display name.
Child profile: first name (or nickname), age band (4–6 / 7–9 / 10–12), avatar choice, interests, and chosen languages. We do not request date of birth, address, school, or photo.
Learning activity: lessons completed, scores, points earned, badges, chat messages with Bridge, and voice samples submitted to pronunciation challenges.
Technical: standard server logs (IP, user-agent) for security and abuse prevention, retained 30 days.
How we use it
- Deliver and personalize lessons, plans, and Bridge AI responses.
- Show parents progress dashboards.
- Keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
AI processing
Chat messages, voice recordings, and lesson-generation prompts are sent to AI model providers (currently Google Gemini and OpenAI, via the Lovable AI Gateway) strictly to produce the lesson, narration, or response. We do not allow these providers to train on your family's content.
Children & COPPA
Accounts are created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Child profiles are tools used by the parent. No part of the product solicits personal information from a child directly. If we ever learn that a child has created their own account, we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can review, export, or delete any data we hold about your family at any time. Email hello@earlybridgeacademy.com and we'll respond within 7 days.
